I have just received my first error codes on my newish slide in induction range cd1 and cd4.  cd1 is for misaligned door lock.  The online manual said to power off and on.  The only power source I could locate was just below the door open icon.  That did not do anything.  Cd4 is not shown in the online manual.  What should I do?  The telephone number I was given on Chat doesn't work - it is either busy or it turns itself off.  Not happy with Samsung's help options.  Would be if they worked!

Sorry to hear your having a issue the CD4 error code on a Samsung induction range indicates a possible sensor error or communication fault, and the first step to resolve it is to power cycle the unit by unplugging it for 1-3 minutes or by flipping the circuit breaker. If the error persists after a reset, ensure compatible cookware is being used and that no buttons are stuck. If these steps don't work, contact 1-800-Samsung for further support.

Troubleshooting Steps
  1. Perform a Power Cycle (Reset):
    • Unplug the range from the wall outlet for 1 to 3 minutes.
    • Flip the circuit breaker that controls the oven to the "off" position for 1 to 3 minutes, then flip it back to "on".
  2. Check for Stuck Buttons:
    • Inspect all buttons on the control panel to make sure none are stuck or being pressed down.
  3. Verify Cookware Compatibility:
    • Ensure you are using cookware suitable for induction cooktops, as the range may not detect it otherwise.
  4. Contact Samsung Support:
