Hello RracecarR1, we're sorry to hear about the vacuum not returning to the docking station and would love to assist you. Has the docking station been recently moved? This appears to indicate a leveling concern. We have these following guidelines to assist with the docking station concern:
1. Place it in a location that provides easy access. 2. The location spot with a flat, level surface and smooth wall is recommended. If needed, adjust the docking station slightly away from the wall to ensure its base is level with the floor, or relocate it to a more suitable wall section. 3. Avoid positioning the docking station on dark-colored flooring. ****On wooden floors, align the docking station with the floor grain. 4. Ensure there's at least 1.6 feet of space on either side of the docking station and 3.3 feet of clear space in front of it.
If the vacuum is still having issues with returning to the docking station; sending it in for service is the only option.
