LED and OLED TVsI work in a school, and we have Samsung TVs in the cafeteria. Recently someone tried to connect to one of the TVs via blueooth, and a connection request window popped up showing the name of the device that was attempting to connect. The name of the device was very inappropriate for a school setting.
Is there a way to completely disable blueooth functionality on Samsung DU7200 televisions, so people can't discover the TV on their personal device?

LED and OLED TVsAre you sure it was the BT they were trying to connect to or the screen mirroring? You might want to disable that, as well. You don't need some student's content coming up on the screen.
To disable screen mirroring on your Samsung TV, you can use the TV menu or the SmartThings app to easily turn off the feature.
Method 1: Using the TV Menu
Turn on your Samsung TV and press the Home button on your remote.
Navigate to the Settings menu (gear icon) and select it.
Scroll down to General or Connections (this may vary by model) and select it.
Find and select Screen Mirroring or Smart View.
Toggle the Screen Mirroring switch to Off. You may need to confirm your choice.
Method 2: Using the SmartThings App
Download and install the SmartThings app on your mobile device if you haven't already.
Open the app and select your Samsung TV from the list of available devices.
Tap on Settings and look for Screen Mirroring.
Toggle the switch to Off to disable screen mirroring on your Samsung TV.
By following these steps, you can easily turn off screen mirroring on your Samsung TV, ensuring that no unwanted connections are made. This can help protect your privacy and prevent accidental mirroring.
