QN77S84DAE OLED TV sn <hidden> bought from Best Buy in Jan. Tv delivered in pristine packaging. There were no problems in unpacking or installing. Unit picture and functions are normal. Viewing room is dark throughout the winter but as season changed visible flaws in the display surface became very noticeable. On a line horizontally across the midline of the unit, at least four bumps on the surface of the screen distort the ambient light in the room. With a straightedge as an indicator, the worst protrudes about ⅛” from the mean.
Best Buy defers to Samsung. Samsung support was diligent but unhelpful, particularly in recognizing this was not a damage issue but a manufacturing/ quality control issue. If I use a third party repair service it apparently voids my warranty plus non-warranty repair and travel time costs would be dear.
Display on/screen reflection distortion
Display off/distortion
I’m hoping for reasonable options for repair but live 2hrs N of San Francisco.

LED and OLED TVsI apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing. This is the first time I have encountered this issue, and since you have already contacted Customer Service, I recommend attempting to reach out again and requesting to speak with a supervisor. As this is still within the warranty period, they should be able to send a technician to diagnose the problem. You can also contact a Certified Repair Center for help also with this issue.
