I have had the same backlight failure twice in 2 years on my 75" Crystal UHD 4K TV. The problem is the top half of the TV's backlights don't illuminate. The first time it was fixed under warranty and now that it is out of warranty, the cost to repair is more than the cost to buy a new TV. Is this an epidemic problem for Samsung? Do others have this issue? Or did I get a lemon?
If I need to purchase a replacement, it will be from LG since I've had a 65" TV from LG for 5 years without any issues. A TV should have a much longer MTBF than 1 year!
