Wi-Fi Option Disappeared From Network Settings

The option to select a WiFi network disappeared from my smart tv Network Settings. It momentarily says looking for Wi-Fi Networks but then defaults to WPS only. Have restarted the TV and reset the network settings with no luck. Any suggestions?
