Hi All,

I have a Bespoke washing machine WF90F53ADSA5. The detergent auto dispenser  is getting filled with water as it dispenses the detergent. Is this normal? How does the auto dispenser actually dispense? The manual doesnt really explain a whole lot except to fill it up. Yes, we are using HE detergent and it does appear to get dispensed but just don't understand the water situation.

Thanks!

My understanding that is not normal.
If your Bespoke washer's auto dispenser is filling with water, it may indicate a clog or an issue with the outflow duct. Check for blockages in input and output valves. You may be able to Use a cotton swab to clean the duct. - Run hot water through it to dissolve any buildup.

If you can't resolve it yourself, you will likely need to contact Samsung support to possibly have it serviced.

Hello rcocuzzi,

It does appear that the washer is operating as designed "normal". With our automatic dispenser feature yes, it needs to fill with a small amount of water during the cycle to flush the liquid detergent/softener into the drum, but as previously stated by MrGhoul if it's filling up excessively or overflowing with water, that's a problem that can indicate multiple concerns such as but not limited to, high water pressure, clogged nozzles, or a malfunctioning valve, requiring troubleshooting. If you deem service is needed please use this provided link to proceed https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/

I turned down the water pressure a couple of twists and I checked the ports for clogs, which they are not seeing that the machine is only two weeks old. So will monitor it for another fill of detergent.
