Auto switch function won't turn off

I have a Samsung Odyssey G5 S27CG510 27"  and I have turned off auto switch but It still keeps happening when I alt tap put of games, then the screen goes dark for a few sec and then it says displayport, i could get it to stop for a bit by using a 1.2 dp cable and set the screen to 1.1 but then I can't use the screens high solution and hz. Now I have a 1.4 cable and can still only select 1. 1 or 1.2 and the problem is still there. Anybody know a fix for it? I already returned it for a new one once and it didn't work

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Does this occur when using borderless window mode in games instead of using full screen?

it doesnt occur in borderless window, only in fullscreen and also when i enter games.

But i want it to fucntion properly in fullscreen mode too, because its annoying having to change it everytime i enter games

Games?   Games from the PC or Console?

The Autoswitch is for changing input ports when you plug in a new source, not changing between ones that are already plugged in and running.

When in windowless mode the background video remains running at fullscreen while the resolution inside the window can change.

Grumble, grumble.
