I am trying to upgrade my 128GB Kingsone SSD to 500 GB Samsung SSD.  Samsung Data Migration software hangs at 99% for several minutes, then the message is:

"The Data Migration function has been interrupted for an unknown reason."

Anyone know how to fix this?

That means the Western Digital is your boot drive.  Your computer would do much better if you used Acronus to clone the WD to the 870 and removed the mechanical drive from the system since the 870 is 5 times faster.

Disconnect the Western Digital drive and try again.

Also download a free trial version of Acronus Tru Image software.  My choice over Samsung.

I disconnected the WD drive there were 2 cables connected to him

now the computer doesn't come up

I'm getting an error that there is no bootable device1652345372583.jpg1652345372595.jpg

I've checked in bios and the Kingstone SSD drive is shown as first bootable device,
