Camera issue

I have a Samsung a23. The flash on my camera isn't working right...does anyone know what the issue could be?

Does it still work, just abnormally? Could you describe what the problem is in a bit more detail?

The flash goes off...but the pictures are dark

Are you able to take pictures fine without using the flash?

Yes. But I would like for my flash to work. I bought the phone brand new so I want everything to work on it.

I understand. 🙂 Does this happen with every picture taken with flash, or just some of them? Could you take a picture with flash and upload it here?

Thank you for that. It does look rather dark. When you turn on your flashlight, does it illuminate the same space more brightly than what is shown? Try going to the Support tab of the Samsung Members app and run all Phone diagnostics related to the camera(s). Do they all pass?

I tried that...it passed...so I'm thinking it's something simple
