How do I change the default start screen?

When I start my 37" Tv it defaults to terrestrial TV, I want it to default to HDMI how do I achieve this?

Enable "HDMI-CEC" feature located in the "external device manager" option in settings on your tv.

Follow the procedure to make HDMI the default.

1. Press the “Menu” button on your Samsung TV remote control.
2. Navigate to “Settings" on your TV model.
3. Scroll down and select "General" from the menu then select "external device manager".
4. Select the HDMI input you want to set as the default (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.).Look for the “Default Input” or “Default Source” option and select it.
5. Choose the HDMI input you selected in step 4 as the default input.Press the “OK” or “Save” button to save your changes.

Settings and menu may vary slightly, depending on TV model.

Note: You can change the TV source by pressing the "source button" on the samsung universal remote.

Similar issue here

The TV keeps defaulting on Samsung TV every time I power it on, even though I want it to start on the HDMI input instead.

I’ve already tried changing the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) setting, but it doesn’t change anything.

This only became an issue after the recent firmware update.

Nope, that option is not there. I can select/deselect Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). It makes no difference, on start up it defaults to Samsung TV, I want it to default to HDMI. This problem has only surfaced after the latest software update.

Found the fix, I just disabled the below

What are the menu selection sequence to find "Start Screen Options" on your TV.  I cannot locate it on mine.

• Press the Home button on your Samsung remote

• Navigate to Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features

• Select Start Screen Options

• Turn OFF "Autorun Samsung TV Plus"

• Turn ON "Autorun Last App"

You can also turn off Samsung Hub as start screen.
