QLED and The Frame TVs

I own Model #

QN65LS03BAFXZA Frame TV. Purchased in February 2023. A couple of months ago I noticed that the Art mode was turning off after being on for an hour or so. I though nothing of it, but I recalled that prior to seeing this happen the TV would keep the Art on screen the full time it was off. In February I suffered an injury that prevented me from using the room where my Frame TV was located. After my surgery and a period of rehab I was able to return to that room and use the TV. When I watched a program, after 15-30 minutes the TV would just shut off. I would turn it back on, only to see it happen again in a shorter amount of time. After reading various recommendations online, I tried disconnection all external devices, unplugging the control unit and waiting 30 minutes. When I plugged everything back in the red light came back on and I was able to do a factory reset, which was recommended on one website board. The set rebooted at the end of the reset. After it came back on I was prompted to start the setup process. After only a few moments the set shut off again and the red light is now off again.  I have tried waiting 30 minutes or more and replugged the set in, but it only stays on for a few minutes before shutting down again. I only bought this set.because I admired the framed art look when off and thought it would fit my decor. I did this even though it cost about double the price of the same size Samsung set available without the frame concept. Itis a little over 2 years old and I am frustrated with this issue. I had bought a second Frame asba housewarming gift for my daughter around the same time but she does not have any issues with it.  I have more traditional other Samsung TVs that still work great that are 5 and 7 years old. I am reluctant to spend hundreds of dollars to diagnose and possibly repair it when a new non frame Samsung set in the same size can now be purchased for $3-$400 dollars. Does anyone know what the possible cause of the issue might be and what it might cost to fix?

Thank you for looking at the information. And yes, once you reset the TV, it is the settings that come with it out of the box. Since the troubleshooting is not helping the only other option would be service. Depending on your warranty you will have a few options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

Hi there, Thanks so much for posting about this. I can definitely understand the frustration with your TV powering off like that. I first recommend checking that the sleep timer function is not enabled. This link has more details about the sleep timer funciton:

If that doesn't help, my next suggestion is to follow the steps in our guide on power issues. Here's a link to that guide:

Please let us know if this helps.

I looked at the links. Do any of the settings described in those links come as the default when the TV is new and unboxed? In the few minutes I was able to keep the set on I managed to do a full factory reset back to the default settings. I assumed that this would set the TV back to settings that would not interfere with the power to the set. When the power goes off there is no red light showing on the LED panel at the lower right on the set. The only way I am able to get the set to turn back on is to unplug it and unplug the fiber optic cable and wait around 30 minutes and plug them back in. Then the TV will come on but only stay on for a few minutes before shutting down with no red light on the led panel again.
