QLED and The Frame TVs
2023 Frame, the remote recently switched to IR mode. It was working, but the range was diminished so we tried to pair the remote with the TV again. The prompts came up on the TV and searched and searched and searched, only to receive a "no device found" message. The remote no longer worked in IR mode after that. We did the pairing and factory reset sequence many times.

We got a remote from a Frame in a different room. That remote was working fine on the TV in the other room. We tried pairing it to the TV where the remote stopped working. It paired successfully, but then almost immediately switched to IR mode. We tried pairing again to get it back into Bluetooth mode, but same thing happened, remote was not found. Now, neither remote will pair with either TV. It's like something forced them to IR mode but they can't get back out of it.

We've tried unplugging the TV, and all sorts of button combos we read on the internet such as return/enter, return/muliview, return/colored dots... And we tried the button combos right next to the IR receiver, next to Samsung logo, next to the Samsung box thingy that everything plugs into.

Everytime, the message is No Device Found. But the remote will still turn the TV on and off despite not being found.

What else can we do? We can use our phones temporarily, but we have children that can use the remote but not a phone. I know there are other remotes out there but the remote is great when it was working, plus I would expect a TV at this price point to have a solution to this issue.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! I would recommend trying a reset on the remote, to do this please try the following below.

Press and hold the Return and Play/Pause buttons together for about 5-10 seconds until the remote’s LED starts blinking.
The remote should automatically re-pair with the TV after resetting. If it doesn’t, try pairing it manually:
Hold the Back and Up buttons for about 10 seconds while pointing at the TV.

If this doesn't work, you may need a new remote. To purchase a new one, please go to the link below.
