Spectrum App vs Spectrum DVR Picture

I don't know if it's me or my Spectrum app on the q90t looks way better and cleaner than the Spectrum DVR via HDMI.   Anyone know why and/or is the Spectrum DVR faulty in HDMI picture output clarity?  The whites and grays look awful on the Spectrum DVR and cleaner on the App.

Thanks but why would I do such a thing, if this was a TV related issue. I got it replaced and the problem is gone. The TV had either a bad panel or bad processor, that's what the seller said.
