Can only exit Pop-Up View by removing app from memory

Is there any way to exit pop up view without force closing an app? Because currently it seems there are only two ways to "close" an app in pop-up view:

1) Minimize it, which causes a bubble to stay on the screen

2) Press X to close, or drag app to the bottom, which both remove the app from memory.

This behaviour is annoying in the following situation:

I open my music app in pop up view, change a song, and then the only options i have are to either minimize the app and have a redundant bubble in my screen (the app can be accessed from notifications) or to close the app, which removes the app from memory and stops my music from playing.

Also when I am in a browser, the page reloads every time I exit pop up view because it removes the browser from memory, and the same is true if I am a few pages inside an app, since exiting pop-up view forces the app to reload when i open it again.

Is there an option to simply minimize or regular "home button" close an app without also removing it from memory once you open it in pop-up view? If not, can you add it either in the settings or good lock suite?

Grab the handle at the top of the pop  up window and drag it down until you see "close" and drag it onto the close icon.  This will close the pop up but it does not close the app.  Be aware, though, that apps in memory time out and may not keep your place, depending on how long it's been since you last accessed  them.
