Chatheads feature removed from messages app

Taking away chatheads in sms is utter garbage making this sms app totally useless to me, i never know when any msg's come in anx have to search for msgs from certain peeps now ive got to search thru 500 other **bleep** apps to find a decent one

If you are referring to bubbles, it is available in Google Messages. Either all, or just certain contacts

And Samsung messages will continue to lose features as it's being phased out. In any case, in both Samsung and Google messages, it's easy to find new messages without notifications or chat heads. Chats with new messages are always moved to the top of the list and have a counter alongside with the number of new messages in the chat.

It's time to switch to Google messages.

I just checked and its Settings → Notifications → Advanced settings → Floating notifications → Bubbles

It's not that for the "chat heads".  That setting just shows how notifications appear on your screen before they situate themselves in the notification panel.  I have "bubbles" on and have never once had a chat head (thank goodness).  In Google messages, the setting is to go to the chat in question, tap on the details/notifications and slide on "bubble this conversation"

How do you not know when notifications come in?  Do you not have notifications enabled for your text app?
