Maybe you didn't see this Years upon years of having such option ON TOP to now be forced to use it on the bottom. Give us at keast the option to set it back on top, this is ridiculous to say the least 😡

Since updating to Android 15 and One UI 7 on my Galaxy S23 FE, I’ve had serious issues like missing or replaced app icons, random crashes, UI glitches, and system instability, which only temporarily improve when I clear the cache—please investigate.

Subject: Serious Bugs and Instability on Android 15 / One UI 7 (Icons Missing, Apps Replaced, Crashes, Etc.)

Message:

Hello,

I'm reporting several issues I've been experiencing on my Samsung device since updating to Android 15 with One UI 7. These are not isolated problems — they’ve happened multiple times and make the phone feel unstable and unreliable.

Here’s a list of the issues I’ve encountered:

App icons disappear randomly or are replaced by icons of other apps (e.g., two icons showing the same app even though one should be different).

Apps crash unexpectedly, even core system ones like Settings or Samsung apps.

UI elements become unresponsive or glitchy, especially on the home screen or app drawer.

System instability is noticeable during normal use — lag, temporary freezes, and slow animations.

Clearing cache/data seems to temporarily fix some issues, but problems return after a while.

Occasional notifications fail to appear or arrive delayed.

Battery drain seems slightly increased since the update.

These issues occur on the stable public release, and I’m not in any beta program. My device is fully updated and regularly maintained, and I don’t use any third-party launchers or mods. This all seems to be a software-level issue, likely tied to the Android 15 and One UI 7 integration.

Please investigate these problems and provide any recommended steps to permanently resolve them. I’m happy to provide more logs, screenshots, or details if needed.

Thank you for your time and support.

Have you tried a wipe cache partition?

Have you tried to clear cache in One Ui Home?

To clear cache in One Ui Home, go to settings, apps, type in the search box, One Ui, go to storage and clear cache. This should be done after EVERY UPDATE.

Wipe Cache Partition.
Turn off phone.
While powered down, press power key and volume up button simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Let go of buttons. You will now be in the bootloader. Using Volume buttons for scrolling, power button for Yes.
Scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition. Press power, scroll to Yes, press power. Reboot press power key.

A wipe cache partition is crucial to keep your device running smoothly after a system software update. It gets rid of accumulated ghost temporary files that can effect your device

I dont see a storage thing to clear cache for on ui. And I did do that wipe cache partition it seems to have fixed some stuff but still odd in some areas and mainly third-party apps still, eh. Also, the battery is still dying way faster than usual, even with all the settings enabled to prioritize battery life, so doing the cache things seemed to have helped in some things so far. Also, thanks for telling me all that. 🙏I hope all can be resolved and fixed for me.!.

You can do that with any app that is acting up. Frozen apps, press the force stop.
