Samsung Apps and ServicesAll modern computers have TPM that prevents a device to be factory reset uithout user's consent. On windows computers, it is protected by a BIOS password. The galaxy phone's recovery mode should have an option to protect the recovery mode with a password or PIN so that no unauthorized modification like resetting the phone can be done without the password/PIN. It can be that someone forgets the password and gets locked out of the phone. But a password like this should only be used by someone who understands the importance of it.

I agree. This function should be protected by password or pin. Samsung, you know what to do. š
