It happens to me several times a week that the Samsung email application fails to send an e-mail with attached jpg picture. In these cases receivers get email with attached file of a few bytes (cca 300) only. In my sent folder it is also the case. As well only the email with corrupted file. Does anybody know how to prevent this?

3 things you can do. Clearing Samsung Mail app data, uninstall and install it again, use another mail client. Samsung Mail is crappy anyhow 🤷

What's the size of the file? Phone companies limit the size you can send.

Approx 4MB. Annexed you can see screenshots of the correct and corrupted versions in the Sent folder. If it happens, I need to send it again and then it usually works fine.

Weird, never seen that before. Have you tried using other email app and see if it happens there also?

It happens only in the Samsung email client. Nevertheless once it happens, then the corrupted version can be seen also in the MS Outlook Sent folder. See the picture.

Thanks. I will give it a try. Apart from this bug I am satisfied with the Samsung mail client. Simple interface, easy multi account support, sufficient for me. I tried Outlook but i find it a bit over engineered to me.
