8 UI update

I knew I was not going to like the latest. 7 was not fun. Who thought changing the power button to bring up Gemini instead of turning off or restarting was a good idea? My tablet does not have a power icon in the notification window, so I have to use power/volume down to get the power off icon to pop up. Is there a way to override Gemini? Or better yet, get rid of it?

Yeah, color me clueless. I was looking for it to be among the large buttons (that's what showed when I did a search), not a faint tiny one on the top line!

It's not very intuitive for all people, you are not the first or probably not the last to totally miss it.

The people who want you to use Gemini.  As was suggested, it's a simple matter to change the button action to go back to the power control.
