TabletsThe first thing to try is to boot to the Safe Mode and see if it still happens.
- Power off the device: Press and hold the power button until the Power menu appears, then select Power off.
- Start the Power menu: Press and hold the power button again until the Power off icon appears.
- Access Safe Mode: Press and hold the Power off icon until the Safe mode prompt appears.
- Confirm and reboot: Select Safe mode to confirm and the device will reboot into Safe Mode.
If it still does this in Safe Mode I would suggest Wiping the Cache Partition
1. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the/ Power key.
2. Once the Android Recovery screen comes up, release the buttons.
3. Use the Volume Down button until you are highlighting ‘Wipe cache partition.’
4. Press the Power button to select ‘Wipe cache partition.’
5. Use Volume Down to highlight Yes.
6. Press the Power button to confirm the action to clear the cache.
7. Wait for a second as the system wipes the cache.
8. Press the Power button again to reboot the device.
If this is still happening you should perform a Factory Reset
The next thing on the list would be to perform a Factory Reset without restoring a backup and to manually install those "trusted apps", testing frequently after you install just a couple of them at a time, for the bad behavior.
