TabletsSo I've been using Samsung phones and tablets for over a decade and one of my most treasured and useful feature was the screen snipping tools.
Create rectangles or circles around anything on the screen you wanted to take a snip of.
It was quick and easy and worked every time.
Then Samsung removed those features and replaced them with AI Assist.
This feature IS HORRIBLE.
Slow to start every time. I sit there and count to 5 after tapping the icon waiting to be able to use it.
Then the selection I create the stupid AI tool tries to do things for me like "Writing Asisst" and auto selecting text.
WHY! I didnt ask it to do that.
So now when I take a sceen snip, which I do multiple times a day, instead of it being a 2-3 second affair it turns into 30 seconds.
This single feature is enough to make me never buy another Samsung product EVER AGAIN.
Samsung, if you want to force feed this stupid AI stuff on us, at the very least give us the option to turn it off and go back to the simple useful quick and easy tools we used to have.
Makes me want to get rid of my phone, watch, and tablet.

TabletsThere are a lot of phones and mfg's out there that you can get without some of this AI stuff being forced on you.
Are they available at the carrier stores and sites? Not much but a few.
But you can go online and buy tons of really cool options.
I know that Samsung is struggling to find reasons to release products every year and get users to upgrade more often.
But removing simple useful features for slow broken AI "features" is not going to get users wanting to upgrade.

TabletsI dont really take a lot of full screen shots.
I like taking the snipping tool and just grabbing a portion of the screen I care about.
Originally Samsung provided a perfect tool for that but they replaced it with the stupid AI Assist.

TabletsOn 5yr old Note20Ultra.
Do newer still have this option?
I simply use the assistant stickman on bottom edge of screen to set a menu of options anywhere 360 on the screen for instant screenshots.
End of day at gallery crop and reduce file by 40%, then stuff it in a sub folder of group of topics.
Last time transferring images to laptop showed 26,000 images.
Never occurred to me to lasso grab portion of page.
File size is high priory within gallery and 5seconds after crop and file size is chosen, cropped screenshot is roughly 120kb vs 5mb.
