When trying to get help from the Community Forums it looked like I was supposed to narrow down the subject area by choosing a category (e.g., phone, tablet, wearable, etc.). However, when I chose "Tablet", unlike other choices, the page that was displayed was completely blank. The URL was "https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tablets/bd-p/get-help-tablets".
The problem I'm having is pretty basic. When I connect my Tab A9+ to my Windows computer using a USB cable the device does appear in the Windows File Manager screen. However, when I select it file manager says there is nothing in the folder. How is that possible? I might point out that I do have an SD Card installed on this device. I do have other samsung devices (both phones and tablets) which allow me to view the files on the device. The tablet in question is newer than the one that works as expected.
I would probably make sure you haven't been writing to external storage. Have you been in your developer settings? By chance, there's a feature you could have enabled
This came about as a result of wanting to make audio recordings. I installed the Samsung Voice Recorder App. The recordings are being stored on my SD Card which I believe is what I requested.

Is the tablet running the latest software version? Are you able to access the file directly on the tablet? What is the model number of the tablet you are currently using?
