Book Cover Keyboard Writing Problem

POST EDITED: I have a Galaxy Tab S10+ and I have the Book Cover Keyboard. So, the keyboard works great. The only problem is that when I fold it completely to use the tablet normally, I can't type anything because the keyboard doesn't appear on the screen. So, I have to unplug the physical keyboard to get it to appear on the screen. So, is there another setting or something, or is that how it works? I mean, it should recognize when it's not being used as a laptop?

This might not address your question but how's the keyboard? Worth the investment? I have the same tablet and am wondering about buying one

Yes it's the Galaxy Cover Keyboard (Don't Remember The Exact Name), but not the Slim version...This

The keyboard it's excellent, just little heavy when you have it attached and using as a tablet, but it really good even more with the trackpad!

@JonathanZal In the tablet, there is no "laptop" and "not laptop" mode. When you are using the keyboard, you are just using a keyboard with a tablet. 

Is this book cover keyboard you are using, have the AI key on it?

I am using the older book cover keyboard which came out with the Tab S9+. It works great on my Tab S10+ and it operates the way you desire. With the physical keyboard out in front of the Tab, the physical keyboard operates. When I fold the physical keyboard behind the display, the physical keyboard is not operational.

Yes, I know that, and the keyboard works great. I'm talking about when I fold the keyboard behind the display; it doesn't work as it should. When I try to type, nothing appears to write with, even with the physical keyboard behind the display. The tablet doesn't detect or show the on-screen keyboard; then I have to unplug or detach it before the keyboard appears, or otherwise use the physical keyboard.

Yes, it's the Book Cover Keyboard, I does have the AI key

It might be an issue specific to that model. Submit a bug report using the Samsung Members app.
