TabletsI've just bought one of the above and want to easily transfer files (books) from my PC to the SD card. I'm on Linux. I can already do that, but have to laboriously unmount the thing before jmtpfs will mount it correctly. Now I want to add a line in /ect/fstab not to automount the thing. I need to know the file system type. As it's Android, possibly ext4, but I'm not sure. Anybody knows?

TabletsThe kernel comes with exfat mount support but I had to install exfat-utils to fully manipulate the filesystem.

TabletsThanks for this. What happens is Gnome tries to mount the tablet, but has trouble doing so. Then I must right click on the Samsung in file manager and tell it do unmount it. That takes minutes. When it's unmounted, I issue jmtpfs /path/to/mountpoint and the tablet is instantly mounted. I can then freely do what I want using the Gmome file manager. The first unmounting is a hassle, but I don't do it that often.
