Hello all, I have a Galaxy tablet for my 14 daughter. She hasn't used it in over a year and has completely forgot the password. I don't even know if it's in my Samsung account. Is there another way to reset the tablet?

You can factory reset it from recovery:
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.
- Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe data/factory reset."
- Press the Side/Power button to execute.
- Reboot the device.
