Tablet Slow Charging

My tablet takes exceedingly long to charge. It is about 3 yrs. old and I use it for hours every day. Is this a sign that it's "dying?" I also get what I assume is an error message while charging when it's off.

I would say the battery is at end of life

I recommend a battery replacement through Samsung online mail in service.
