Helpless on earth, att is literally holding my phone hostage, and I'm fuming mad, can anyone help me. I bought a Samsung 21 with my stimulus check outright, owe nothing, and pay 38 dollars monthly with a payment card. Last sat. I switched to spectrum. Att give me their account. #,and the pin I was suppose to get I did everything right. The pin numbers were wrong and it give me the nuk, for too many wrong number attempt. When I called they said it went through. The 1st of many deceitfulness. To shorten this, for a week, now we have continued back and forth from store to phone..... and they still refuse to unlock my phone. They do not own my phone. And I do not owe them a dime. They can't do this to me. They are literally holding my phone hostage, giving me bogus numbers, hanging up on me, ......so much more. All I want to do is take em for all they got at this point, but I just want my phone back, anyone got any ideas.
ATT is notorious for causing issues with customer service and more. Try using online services to end your billing cycles, and go to att.com and navigate to the Unlock Tool, which is 100% online and will allow you to unlock your phone after all billing cycles are complete.
I recommend switching as they rip you off. All you need is a closed account, a paid off phone, and you can begin a unlock and switch.
