With BTS concerts coming up in the US, I figured this would be a good time to share a few Galaxy camera tips Iโve learned from attending large events and concerts.

I recently went to a Ye concert and took a handful of photos and videos with my Galaxy S26 Ultra. Concerts can be tricky because youโre dealing with bright stage lights, dark crowds, fast movement, loud audio, and people constantly moving around you. These are a few things that helped me get better content.
One of my biggest tips is to tap and hold on the screen to lock focus/exposure, then slide the brightness down a little before taking the photo. Stage lights and LED screens can easily make photos look washed out or overly bright, so lowering the exposure helps bring back more color and detail.
Another tip is to use the Galaxyโs built-in zoom options instead of randomly pinching in. At concerts, I usually try to stick with the clean zoom levels like 3x, 5x, or 10x depending on how far I am from the stage. It helps keep the shot steadier and usually gives a cleaner result than over-zooming.
For big moments, I also recommend recording video instead of trying to capture the perfect photo every time. Concert lighting changes fast, and video lets you capture the energy, movement, crowd reactions, and stage effects all at once. Plus, you can always pull a frame from the video later if you want a photo.
If your Galaxy device has strong stabilization or features like Horizontal Lock, use them when recording. It makes a big difference when youโre holding your phone in a crowd and people around you are cheering, dancing, or bumping into you.
One non-camera tip: be cool with the people around you. If you build a little rapport with the people in your row or near you, it makes it easier to move slightly for a better angle without annoying anyone.
Most importantly, donโt spend the entire concert watching through your screen. Get your shots, record your favorite moments, then put the phone down and enjoy the show.
For anyone going to see BTS, these tips should help you come home with better concert content without missing the actual experience.
