2 different profiles using same account

Im begining to think Samsung or 1 or more 3rd party apps maybe seeing the 2 different profiles on my A156U as 2 different phones. The profiles are mine but they use the same Google account. Someone or ones or even myself have been making mistakes with my phones i believe. Im not quite sure what all is going on with that really but I've had to factory data reset my phone 3 times, reset mobile data connection and wifi an bluetooth along with all settings more time than I can count over this. Now I'm not pointing fingers but I recently purchased this phone roughly 3 months ago is all. Who is doing this **bleep** to my phone I think I might have stoped but get this one right whoevers to blame. 

This "A156U" is NOT an "A03" so stop syncing my settings from my old phone to my new! I'm sick and tired of the circle event of continuously fixing this phone a long time ago. Its past frustration. 

It's really a toss up of who but it was coming from my Samsung account. That much is a for sure. 

So Samsung, Do Not put the cookie back on my device that was also on my old device for whatever your purposes were. It almost ruined this phone before I figured out where the data was coming from. I "dont" want or need that data anymore. Thank very little. Im not impressed that you couldn't figure out they were 2 completely different phones so it's pretty simple to know that setup wouldn't be the same for sure. So keep those settings sync is cookie you sent cuz it's been a rough road the last 3 months. I almost threw this phone in the trash and was done with Samsung and Galaxys for good over this ordeal. I even messaged, texted and called Verizon, Samsung and Google numerous times to figure this out and yet, No responses other than to check my backups. It took some time to figure out or I think I have it figured out. Who knows for sure. Time will tell. But that stupid cookie linking a backup from a 3rd party app or Samsung cloud but the cookie details said Samsung plain and clear enough with an auto login. So thanks a lot for the nightmare. With all your fancy gadgets and scanners, you'd think you or atleast 1 of these high profile companies would have caught was going on after my many attempts at contacting someone or anyone of you for assistance on this issue.

It's a work in progress for sure. Its just getting really annoying resetting everything almost everyday

And somehow 1 or more of my backups didn't complete so im not really sure completely cuz my Drive reads there is 10.02mb of storage being used in it but I've checked using Google Drive and with 2 different browsers and I can't find anything in the storage at all but the app and browsers both say that amount is being used. Im getting very irritated by all that syncing everything all the time. Its stupid that every company does this. It creates a real headache when it goes wrong for anyone

So why don't you just turn off the syncing in one. Not sure what it's doing, mine sync and I don't see anything, it's done on the background.

Did that awhile ago on a lot of things narrowing down what's causing it. There was more than one issue when it started though which made things much more difficult. Slot of it seemed to stem from a cookie that was place on this phone linking Samsung Cloud that was also on my old device. Creating a lot of problems with this phone. After I deleted that so far no issues and it's been hours and I've been logged in to both accounts all day and night with no problems. I haven't gotten brave enough to turn on sync yet.

Cross your fingers and give it a flick. 😅 Or wait, if I sync once a week I'm good. Also wipe your cache partion, and take that off your list of I've done everything else. 😂

Yes, you can use the same account across multiple profiles, but it depends on what you mean by “profiles”:

Within Zoom (or similar platforms):

• An account generally has one primary profile tied to its login (name, email, picture, etc.).

• If you want two different profiles (for example, one for work and one for personal use), you’d need to either:

  • Create a separate account for each, or

  • Edit your profile info when switching contexts (which isn’t ideal).

 Across devices:

• You can sign in to the same account on multiple devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). Each device will reflect the same profile settings since they’re tied to that account.

 If you’re thinking of “user seats” on a paid plan:

• Each person needs their own licensed user account under the subscription. Two people can’t share one paid account and have separate identities at the same time.

✅ Bottom line: One account = one profile identity. If you need two distinct profiles (e.g., work vs. personal), the cleanest solution is to create a second account under a different email.

You cant have 2 accounts with Google unless you pay for the second account. Im just y important enough to really need another account. Especially one i have to pay for. Lol😂

If you no longer have your old device, remove it from your Samsung account. If you no longer need the backup, delete the backup from the cloud. Profiles don't matter in your Samsung account, they matter in Google. Since you phones back up and sync with Google, and you have two profiles with the same Google account, that's why your stuff keeps coming back. Make an offline backup of your device and delete your Google backup from the cloud. Then create a different Google account for your separate profile. You will be able to manage a second Google account on the phone. Bottom line, whether it's Samsung or Google, just delete the old data and old device from all accounts. There is no need to put the blame on either company for user misconfiguration. Goggle and Samsung are doing what they are supposed to do - keeping and syncing your data.
