The latest update really messed up my phone. How do I separate my lock screen from my app drawer and how do I alphabetize my app drawer? I have a Galaxy A15.

I’m confused. What do you mean by separating your Lock Screen from your app drawer? Those two things are already separated. You have your Lock Screen, and then you unlock your screen to access your Home Screen. You can swipe up to get to your app screen.

To get your apps in alphabetical order in your app drawer, open your app drawer and click the three dots in the search bar. Then, select “Sort,” and you’ll have the option for “Alphabetical” or “Custom” order.

Just so you know, in order to have an alphabetical sort in the app drawer, you will have the vertical scroll.  If you want to keep your horizontal,  paginated scroll, you will have to manually alphabetize or otherwise rearrange your apps.

If you are confusing your home screen with your lock screen and you have only your home screen showing, go to settings/home screen/home screen layout and choose home and apps screen.  Then you will have your home page and your apps screen separate.

Nothing happens when I swipe from the 'lock screen'. I can swipe left to get to my other apps.
