I would remain vigilant about this. Make sure all your accounts are secure with 2FA and passwords are updated. You could also try contacting the app developers (Facebook/Meta) if this is only occuring with their Messenger app.

You should definitely reset your password, and if it's the same password on everything then reset all of them
