Has anyone had any problem using Samsung Galaxy Book Smart Switch to transfer data and apps from a Samsung Notebook9 Pro Laptop to the Book5 Pro? My new Book5 keeps trying to "send" data to the old computer instead of receiving.  Tech support couldn't figure it out and said it's a chromebook compatibility issue.  But the Samsung Notebook9 runs on Windows.  I thought Chromebooks used Google or android.  I know I can move files over but I'm more concerned about apps that I no longer know where to find the activation key if I have to reinstall them.

Any ideas on why the issue is happening? I've searched the web and can't find any info on why the new computer isn't seeing the data on the old computer when using Galaxy Book Smart Switch?  Both computers are using Windows 11 and on the same wifi.  Tried connecting with usb cable but nothing happened.

Hey there, Nene! Try using a wired connection to send data to your new computer? You should be able to send data to your new computer just fine without compatibility issues since its just moving files to another device, I've had no problem switching files from a chromebook to a notebook 9.

Just an FYI:
Chromebooks run on chromeOS, which runs on the Linux kernel. It's essentially just reskinned Linux that can emulate android apps. I hope this helps!

Hi Cosmic Ray. I tried the wired but it didn't move the software.  I've been told now to use Samsung Flow
