ComputersHello, everyone!
I'm having an issue with Samsung Continuity Service on my Galaxy Book 360, which runs Windows 11 24H2. Every time I try to use Multi Control, a pop-up appears saying that Samsung Continuity Service needs to be updated. However, when I click Update, it takes me to the Microsoft Store, where it says the app is already installed — there's no option to update or reinstall.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Uninstalled Samsung Continuity Service using PowerShell.
- Reinstalled it from the Microsoft Store.
- Cleared the Microsoft Store cache using wsreset.exe.
- Checked for updates in both the Microsoft Store and Device Care.
- Tried using PowerShell commands to repair the app, but the commands get stuck.
- Manually checked for Samsung-related files in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps and AppData, but the issue persists.
Despite all this, the update prompt keeps appearing when I enable Multi Control, and the Microsoft Store still shows the app as installed.
I'm not sure if this is a version mismatch or some sort of system cache issue, but I’ve hit a wall with troubleshooting.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to force an update or fully remove and reinstall Samsung Continuity Service would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your help!
PS
I’ll stick around to provide any extra details if needed. Thanks again!
