I have 1 work app the requires to be connected to my work wifi to work properly. Is there a way to make it so only that app uses the work wifi and have everything else run through my cellular data?

You can make a routine to open a particular app when connected to a particular SSID, but I don't know if you can restrict which apps access data on that network. I have a feeling it may be an all-or-nothing thing. You can try making a routine and see where you get.

I dont think that's possible for only one app to use wifi being if you want to use data also they would conflict

Not unless your work site has a VPN for access. Otherwise you will have to use a different device for that particular app if you can't use your work's wifi for your personal stuff. If you have unlimited data, you can turn wifi off until you need to use that app and just use your data for personal stuff. You can create a routine to turn wifi on and mobil data off when that app is opened and turn it off when the app is closed.
