I have no idea why after the new update for my Buds 3 pro, the ANC(Active Noise Canceling) is literally garbage,at first when i bought them they were so good it was insane,if i had that mode activated,i couldn't listen to anything outside and now is like they are not even working. Any ideas or tips to fix?

Hi @Joseph3o5, Welcome to the Samsung Community. That sounds really frustrating what your ANC isn't working with you Buds 3 pro anymore. I would be more than happy to help you out.

The first thing I would suggest is to restart the buds by placing them into your charging case and close the lid, leave them for 7 seconds then remove the buds this will restart them, and they should automatically reconnect to your phone.

If you are still experiencing the ANC issue you can try a Factory Reset of the buds. You will go into the Wearable app> tap on About Buds> Tap Reset earbuds> and then Reset again to confirm.

This is a link is a step-by-step guide of how to restart and reset in case you need to see the visual.

Lastly if you continue to have the ANC issues I would recommend taking them to an authorized service center.

We have walk-in locations, here is a link to find a location near you:

If there is no walk-in, you can set up service to have the device sent in to us using this link:

I have the same problem, sounds on anc are almost as loud as in ambient sound. Was not like this prior to the update that promised better performance and stability.

I have perfomed a factory reset but that did nothing. It doesn't downgrade the firmware so it's never going to solve a problem brought on by an update.

This is not the first time an update has degraded performance on these buds, nor on a Samsung device; my Galaxy Watch Ultra is nearly useless now with its 1.5 day battery life. Fed up of paying for your top devices. Next year when you'll push an update that knocks them down a few tiers. Think I will be taking my custom elsewhere for all of my future upgrades as I'm no longer getting value for money.
