Galaxy buds won't show in app or bluetooth search

I have a pair of Galaxy buds and cannot connect via Bluetooth or the Wearable app. Buds worked fine for months, but were put away (in desk) for 3 months when I moved and the buds died of course.  When I pulled them out to connect after charging, was unable to do so.  I deleted the paired device from the app and Bluetooth. I have updated the Wearable app and buds still won't show up.  I have tried "resetting" in case and in ears.  Buds and case light up green, but buds never beep when trying to pair.  I have tried everything I could find online,  including tried to pair with an iPhone as well as another Samsung phone.  The buds have always been kept in case on desk  (never in purse or pocket), but have been in a desk drawer for past 3 months. They have never been wet or any physical damage. I used the buds for phone calls mostly, so weren't used a ton. Is there anything I could be missing? I bought them with my phone, so not even sure where to take them to be fixed.
