Good day!

Kindly give us steps on how to make sure the SPEN air commands will keep taking pictures when we press the button on the SPEN.

What we did so far:

1.  Checked for updates

2.  Reinstalled Air commands app by uninstalling then installing them again.

3. Made sure all permissions were granted for the PENUP app and Air commands app.

4. All OS updates are installed.

We also followed these steps: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001284/#perform-a-factory-data-reset-on-your...

Thank you.

It's possible that the capacitor in the S-pen is no longer holding a charge after 5ish years, meaning it can't power the Bluetooth connection anymore, so all the pen can do is write and draw now. I'd probably try to get a replacement note9 S-pen (not one of the newer ones as they have different dimensions and may not fit in the slot correctly) and see if that connects.

I don't believe there was a note s9. I believe it's either a note 9, or a Galaxy s9. Either way, the phone is over 5 years old and no longer getting Android updates. Could it be nearing its end of life causing it to malfunction?
