Hey Samsung,

Why did you make it so that there is this gray lock screen when plugging in an S/Note/Fold into a secondary display when the screen is locked?

How do you expect users to be able to get into their device for important info or data transfer when the screen is broken and the digitizer doesn't work? 🤨 Or are you taking another page from Apple's book and making the customers simply buy a new phone and rely on some sort of cloud to restore data? 🙄

Please stop removing features and please support your devices better for the sake of the customer? Unless you want to lose them to your competitor. Because you know they're going make it difficult for them to switch back.

@Jess04 True this can be inconvenient, but this is done for security. If the phone automatically unlocked when you connected it to a monitor or TV, anyone could pick up your phone and access your information at any time.

Not exactly. What it USED to do was just display the lock screen. Not that intrusive gray one. And you could only unlock it if you knew the Passcode/PIN/Pattern. Either by touching the screen if the digitizer still works or with a mouse plugged in using an OTG adapter that supported USB. Samsung keeps making things more difficult! 🤬
