I upgraded to Android 16 and ever since then the function of extending my screenshot (in the bottom left of screenshot) simply does not work anymore. I tap it and 1. it doesn't expand down and 2. it greys out not allowing me to tap it again.

Has anyone else had this issue and know of a potential fix? I use this all the time and would really want it to be working again.

It's working as expected on my phone. I take the screenshot and hit the scroll icon, it greys out for a second and then I am able to push it again.

Yeah, that is how it normally works. Mine just greys out and never comes back. Thanks for checking

Did you wipe the cache after the update to One UI 8?

You need to go into recovery (not download mode) to clear cache:

1) Turn off your device.

2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button at the same time until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.

3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."

(Do Not Factory Reset)

4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."

6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.

7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.

Thinking it might be an app specific issue now because it works everywhere else since clearing. Thanks for the help

Which app is preventing it for you? Even after I did the wipe cache partition, I still can't take scrolling screenshots in the Spotify app. It definitely worked within an hour of the Android update, and didn't work within an hour after the Android update.

If you ever find an answer, please let me know! Thanks for posting this thread.

If you don't use the default default launcher.
