I recently bought some new earbuds that I am using with my phone.
These are Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds.

The earbuds volume functions by accessing my S20 phone's device volume.

The problem that I am having is that one volume is too low and the next one up is too loud, with no room to move between them.

Is there a way to make the increments between volumes more sensitive, so that I can find volumes that are somewhere in the middle?

If I understand your question correctly, you want to adjust the step volume, the incremental increase, and decrease every time you press a volume button.

You can download Goodlock from the Galaxy Store, then specially the sound assistant module.

This module will allow you to set how many steps up or down the volume slider will increase. I have mine set to 5.

Hope this helps!1708455746518_1708455746506_0.jpg

Thanks for that.

Strangely this works when changing volume using the volume buttons on my phone, but not when using the volume directly from the earbuds.

I'm counting 8 steps from earbuds, but way more now using my volume buttons.

I don't know why earbud manufacturers don't have this baked into their apps.
So annoying!

Thanks.

I guess there isn't much I can do on the S20 end. Unless anyone else has potential solutions?

I'll contact Bose support and update if anything happens with that, but I'm guessing my only hope is for them to write it into an update.
