Since the September security updat I have noticed several battery drain. I used to get by with 1 charge per day now it takes 2. Hope this gets fixed in the next update.

Battery drain could be coming from apps that is running on your background.

this is not enough info to determine if the battery is having issue or the phone is not allocating power to apps/functions properly. Drain can vary greatly based on use habits and signal strength as well as climate of your region.

Simplest way to check is taking it to UBreakFIx or Batteries Plus for a checkup.

other option is to submit error report to Samsung Members after reproducing the drain issue (whenever you notice another large drain).

Please share your device's model number and the software version. thanks

No, this is a widely reported problem with the latest Samsung Health update.

I've noticed the same thing and everything else in my phone pretty much stayed the same. 1:15 hours bike ride drained the battery 60%. Before this it was barely noticeable.

Samsung Health accounts now for 15% of battery consumption with regular use during the day, even after clearing cache and force-stopping it.

Samsung S7 Edge running 8.0.
