Galaxy S22I realized it's not the same update, at least for me. It's looking like a year's worth of security and version updates from Android 14 to 16 and One UI 6 to 8. We've been at it with my wife's for a couple of hours, still not finished yet though, up to August.

Galaxy S22Ope. YUP. I was so frustrated until I saw this. Idc as long as it's actually doing something.
UPDATE: I just let it go for a while and now I see I'm on UI 8.

Galaxy S22I ended up going into settings.... updates and when it starts to download.... hit pause. then exit. this does not fix the problem. It still thinks it has not updated. But, it stops the symptom and haven't gotten a message about the update since. They need to make a patch to fix this. It is ...indeed....broken.

Galaxy S22To bypass these stacked updates, you might be able to connect your device to a PC and run Smart Switch for Mac/Windows to jump straight to the current software version.
If you don't have access to a computer, you can visit a certified samsung repair center and ask them to flash the device for you.
