My finger print stopped working just before the last update today. I did a diagnostic test on it, and it said it was normal, I even went back in to use my finger print yo unlock my phone, and it won't work, so now I have to swipe it to unlock. My phone is a Galaxy A21, and is 4 yrs old. Maybe time to get a new phone.
