NOTE FOR MODS: There are some important things I would like fixed in a dedicated section below in the next update.

So, I spent a bit of my weekday trying out One UI 6 on my vanilla S23 locked to Verizon. To start, I really enjoy the vast majority of the design tweaks/enhancements.

For example, the new emojis. I know, you would probably diss me in the comments, but, like Apple's notch, most people would probably become accustomed to them. I, however, am part of the virtually minor group of people who prefer them over the old ones. To most people, they see it as flat and lifeless, but to me, however, they look more fun, cute, and visually appealing.

I also like the redesign of the quick settings menu. Everything is organized more appealingly and helps ease the transition from one modern phone to another. The status bar also has minor tweaks, and these two changes bring up some problems, which I will explain later.

Next, the Camera app is easier to use and more versatile. I was able to get more lineike photos and smoother videos, getting them closer to being in line with the Pixel and iPhone.

Lastly, on the home screen, the apps are easier to identify thanks to the slightly bigger icons and simplified naming.

Bugs and Ideas:
To begin, a Reddit user noticed that the improved status bar does not move a few pixels to prevent screen burn-in. He backs this up by saying that several screenshots he took on the previous One UI version had a status bar repositioned slightly on each one, whereas screenshots on the current version show otherwise.

Another issue I came across was that neither the Material You nor Theme Park color palettes are applied in third-party apps that support it (including Google apps), but only in Samsung apps.

Edit: Just found another bug

I will update this post if Wi-Fi 6e works this time. According to an answer to my last one, it should.

An idea I have that I would like to see in the 6.1 update is to make the top quick settings toggles (e.g. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) easier to access with one hand is to swipe down a third time without going into the dedicated One-Handed Mode.

That is very interesting about WiFi6e. I never had a problem with it. Always worked for me since I get s23 ultra.

I doubt its the router, I have tried 3 different branded routers, its a bug among other bugs that stable still has, pixel shift being disabled is one of them

Yes new emojis are ugly af. I don't even want to use them because they look stupid and that doesn't convey the message I want to convey
