Galaxy S23When using the Samsung email application to "reply,", "reply all," or "forward" a new email, the application does not allow me to scroll down and view the original email or email stream to which the response is being directed. When scrolling down to see the original email(s) the screen will not hold and simply jumps back up to the new email response.
Up until last night (November 20, 2025) it did allow this. So, you could begin your response, scroll down and review the original email(s), notice something else you would like to add to your response, and iterate this process to get your new mail complete and responding to all germane content in the original email(s).
I did: power the device off/on, clear the cache, uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and contact Samsung support who took control of my phone and verified this behavior - however this was the first time the person had heard of this so no solution available at this time.
Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution?

Galaxy S23Same thing has happened on both my older Note 10+ running Android 12 and my S24 on Android 16. I use it for my work email on both devices and this is very annoying. I purposely do not update apps that work well as something always seems to get worse IMO, but this makes the email app fundamentally unusable. I have to use my other phone to review emails I'm replying to to make sure I'm addressing topics in the email. Also throws out the ability to edit the email you are responding to, to answer questions directly in the the body of the previous email. I really dislike the outlook app, but it looks like I'll probably need to go that route if samsung can't fix what wasn't broken.

Galaxy S23This issue began for me at about the same time, November 20, 2025 with my old Samsung A50. I purchased an S25 and the issue persisted.

Galaxy S23Samsung Support gave me this fix which appears to have worked - so far:
Setting > Apps > Android System WebView > App details in store > Remove update > Uninstall
Do not install updates after doing the above.

Galaxy S23Personally, I would prefer a fix, not something that precludes me from potentially useful future updates.
