Samsung email app unable to view in-line messages when using reply, reply all, or forward

When using the Samsung email application to "reply,", "reply all," or "forward" a new email, the application does not allow me to scroll down and view the original email or email stream to which the response is being directed. When scrolling down to see the original email(s) the screen will not hold and simply jumps back up to the new email response.

Up until last night (November 20, 2025) it did allow this.  So, you could begin your response, scroll down and review the original email(s), notice something else you would like to add to your response, and iterate this process to get your new mail complete and responding to all germane content in the original email(s).

I did: power the device off/on, clear the cache, uninstall the app, reinstall the app, and contact Samsung support who took control of my phone and verified this behavior - however this was the first time the person had heard of this so no solution available at this time.

Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution?

I'm having same issue on my new S25fe. My S20fe started this sometime late summer. The 20 was starting to have additional issues, so I thought the OS was starting to have problems with the older hardware, so I upgraded. Probably my last Samsung if not corrected soon...not looking forward to navigating an IOS ph, but???

My S23 Ultra has the same scrolling problem in reply emails. This started happening after 2 updates that came within days of each other! No issue before that. I've tried everything except remove updates bc it says all data will be lost. Since I don't know what data they are referring to, I haven't done it. Plus if I do, does that mean I forever have to refuse updates? SAMSUNG PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE, LOOK AT YOUR UPDATES. THAT'S WHERE THE PROBLEM IS
