Text Categories Not Filtering

Due to the recent update, I'm no longer able to filter categorized text messages outside of the "all" category. Is there a way to fix this issue?

After UI 7.0 update my text message categories as no longer working properly. When I receive a message from some one in that specific category it will appear in my main inbox as well as the category area. This needs to be fixed ASAP

Mine as well.  What a wonderful sms that Samsung has **bleep** up.  If you delete the one in the main inbox it deletes the one in the category.  Google messages does not have the same category option.  Why, why would Samsung do this??  I will consider a different manufacturer  if Samsung doesn't correct this one of a kind app.

They told me to clear the cache of the app and phone which were both a colossal waste of time
