I was litterally just trying to turn my BT on to listen to mysic on my headphones in the backseat when my phone auto connected to my parents jeeps bluetooth. Normal sure, but then the Wifi which was TURNED OFF toggled on and instantly connected my to the Jeeps android auto network.
MY WIFI WAS OFF??? And this happened multiple times. 5 times i turned my wifi off and disconnected BT to the car just for it to automatically reconmect and turn back on.
Im not exploring my options to stop this. I wanted it to end so i unpaired the bluetooth and forgot the wifi network. GOOGLE NEEDS TO FIX THIS ASAP.
WIFI shouldnt have the ability to automatically turn on for ANYTHING Especially ANYTHING BT RELATED!!
Mine killed my battery last night. When I'm in the kitchen of my house the wi-fi jumps onto the car outside turning on the aftermarket infotainment system all weekend and drained my battery. When I turn off the bluetooth and wifi it turns itself back on
This needs to be fixed ASAP I dont want to auto connect to anything if I'm shutting down my Bluetooth it auto turns back on. I never had this issue what ever updated you did it needs to be corrected
