Spam comes in Calendar Galaxy S24+

Why does the calendar on my galaxy s24plus keep having texts show up that aren't mine or are spam. The texts don't show up in my sms messages.

Not sure what you mean by "texts" but the spam is probably going to your Google calendar. Here's how to block calendar spam:

Unfortunately when I bring calendar up and go to settings...it doesnt show "general" settings and so I cant update the event setting it recommends

For the Samsung Calendar widget (not Google calendar): go to regular Settings on your phone > Calendar > Permissions > Contacts (choose dont allow)
